Zona Franca Cádiz participates with more than 70,000 m2 in this future Entity, which will serve entrepreneurs to reduce costs
Zona Franca carried out the comprehensive improvement of the Palmones Industrial Estate, providing a better overall image and fluidity in access, among other actions.
The State delegate in the Free Trade Zone, Jorge Ramos, accompanied by the Consortium's Project Manager, José Manuel Fedriani, attended the Informative Table offered this morning by the mayor of Los Barrios, Jorge Romero, on the new Palmones Parque Empresarial Conservation entity, in which the Free Trade Zone Cádiz participates with more than 70,000 m2.
The meeting, organized by the town's Town Council with the collaboration of Zona Franca and the Joly Group newspaper in the Campo de Gibraltar Europa Sur and which was held in the Acerinox assembly hall in this municipality, had the objective of offering information about this new Conservation Entity that will provide joint solutions, and therefore much more economical, for businessmen and users in general of the industrial estate in matters of maintenance, conservation or security, among other aspects.
It must be remembered that Zona Franca has made a strong commitment to Campo de Gibraltar in general and to Los Barrios in particular, the eastern municipality in which it concentrates an important part of its activity in the Region, with actions such as the business incubator or the comprehensive improvement of the Polígono, both in Palmones, in addition to being one of the milestones in the extension and expansion project that the Consortium carries out on land in El Fresno.
It was precisely in parallel to the improvement works of the Palmones Industrial Estate carried out by Zona Franca Cádiz after the signing of a collaboration agreement with the City Council, when Jorge Romero announced the creation of the Urban Conservation Entity.
This action by the Consortium in the Industrial Estate, which was inaugurated last March, has significantly improved the global image of the business enclave, gaining in aesthetics and providing quality and comfort for the businessmen, workers and users of this industrial estate.
The work consisted of correcting technical deficiencies and comprehensive improvement over a total area of 116 hectares, including all of the polygons in the area (Palmones I, Palmones II, Palmones III and Marismas de Palmones) and carried out a comprehensive improvement of this area, a benchmark for economic activities in the Region, in addition to providing fluidity in access to this important industrial and commercial area.
