This morning, the Cádiz Free Zone has awarded a plot of 9,528 m2 in the Los Pastores Industrial Estate in Algeciras to the company Autransa S.L, of the Ortiz-Miranda group, dedicated to Transport and Logistics, once authorized by the Consortium's Contracting Board within the framework of Public Offer 4/16.
The company's objective is to establish on this land in Zone A (front) of Los Pastores a land logistics platform for the parking and repair of trucks, thus expanding the services it already provides in Campo de Gibraltar, in the industrial estate. Royal Farmhouse of Algeciras.
Autransa has more than three decades of experience in the freight transport sector, during which it has developed in different traffics: from container transport to specializing in international transport of goods at controlled temperatures.
With the security of the merchandise at all times as its premise, Autransa offers Morocco-Europe and Europe-Morocco refrigerated transport services; Intra-European refrigerated transport; container transport, with double-axle vehicles and chassis with generator for refrigerated containers; and transportation of fruit and vegetable products with refrigerated semi-trailers.
With the award to Autransa, Zona Franca completes the commercialization of the land that it put out to Public Offer in Los Pastores temporarily while the procedures to create a Tax Precinct on said land are completed, a project that is already very advanced and in which Zona Franca is working together. and Algeciras City Council.
In fact, once the final approval of the General Urban Planning Plan of Algeciras (PGOU) is resolved, Zona Franca will be able to proceed with the drafting of the Urbanization Project for a 125,000 m tax and customs area.2 of surface, which will complement the Port of the Bay of Algeciras and will form a large area with productive spaces for the implementation of new companies and the attraction of investments, which generate economic activity and employment for the area.
