The Free Trade Zone of Cádiz is currently proceeding to contract the corresponding supply and electricity supplies for the Convento San Agustín Business Center in Jerez with the aim of opening this business complex in the near future, once the license has been obtained. first occupation by the city council.
The opening of the Business Center, which is made up of the San Agustín building and the Las Caballerizas annex building, makes a total of 55 offices with surfaces ranging between 15 and 94 m available to the Jerez business community.2 that adapt to the needs of companies and liberal professionals. In fact, in order to speed up the start of the activity, the Consortium has a permanent Public Offer open so that those interested in settling in the building can opt for the different available spaces.
The Public Offer includes in detail the marketing conditions of this business complex, highlighting that the spaces are sold fully furnished, including cleaning, reception service and have Internet connection and air conditioning. Specifically, there are a total of 42 offices measuring between 15 and 94 m.2 in the main cloister and 13 offices between 17 and 53 m2 in the Las Caballerizas annex building.
It should be remembered that Zona Franca has developed a large business center of about 4,500 m in the heart of Jerez.2 which combines tradition and modernity, since rehabilitation works were carried out on the old convent of San Agustín, which was in a ruinous state, to create a productive space that would meet the needs of the city's entrepreneurs and self-employed workers.
Furthermore, this Business Center is the best reflection that institutional loyalty and collaboration are essential to carry out large projects to create economic activity and employment. Thus, this equipment is a reality thanks to an agreement signed in September 2012 between the Ministry of Finance, the Free Trade Zone of Cádiz and the city council to rehabilitate the old convent of San Agustín. The objective of this collaboration agreement was twofold: on the one hand, to enable the architectural recovery of dilapidated facilities and, on the other hand, to revitalize them with modern equipment, a new productive space in the heart of the city available to the business community.
The rehabilitation works, which also included the redevelopment of Puerto Street, have involved an investment of six million euros, co-financed by funds requested in the Framework of the FEDER Operational Program of Andalusia 2007-2013.
The ability to integrate a historic building with modern and functional equipment has generated a business complex designed both to meet the needs of small business owners in the area and liberal professionals, as well as for those companies already in operation and that want to provide their facilities with a added value, with advantageous conditions and a minimum economic impact for their businesses.
