The Consortium has already marketed more than 1,000 m2 of offices since the Public Offer was opened at the end of 2015
The company Contratas y Transportes Salgar SL is installed in the Nexus Business Center of the Free Trade Zone in Algeciras, once it has been awarded by the Consortium's Adjudication Board a module on the first floor of the building, which it opted to through the Permanent Public Offer OP. 09/16.
Contratas y Transportes Salgar is a Valencian company created in 2012 specialized in land transport of containers. It operates and provides service from the Ports of Valencia, Algeciras and Castellón, with headquarters in the Valencian port and delegations in the other two.
Among the services offered, the transport of 20', 30', 40', 45' containers stands out; transport of 20' dump containers; Reefers container transport; High Cube container transport; container transport with extra measures; and container transportation with ADR.
With the installation of this Valencian company, the occupancy of the Nexus building now exceeds 1,000 m2 marketed of the 3,507 m2 leasable therein. The companies, which cover various sectors such as Maritime Transport, Ship Agent, Insurance, Quality Control and Certification, Advertising and Marketing, Transport and Security, occupy different modules that adapt to their needs and range between 23 m2 and the 145 m2.
The modern and strategically located offices of the Nexus building are generating the interest of the business community in the Campo de Gibraltar region, a fact that is confirmed by the Commercial Department of the Free Trade Zone, which receives a good number of requests for information from companies interested in some of the available spaces on the Nexus.
The implementation of this facility has involved an investment of 6.5 million euros – co-financed by funds requested in the Framework of the FEDER Operational Program of Andalusia 2007-2013 –, forming an important offer of spaces for entrepreneurs and liberal professionals.
