The commercialization of the Nexus Building that the Free Trade Zone has developed in Algeciras is progressing at a good pace. Thus, since the Consortium opened the Public Offer for the lease of these spaces at the end of 2015, a total of fifteen modules have been awarded, in addition to a good number of applications being received from companies that are interested in these new facilities. Along with these companies, the Nexus Building facilities will also be the institutional headquarters of the Consortium in the Region, occupying about 250 m2 of surface from where it will centralize the daily management, with proximity and operation, of the important projects and investments of the Free Zone in the Campo de Gibraltar, highlighting the expansion of its fiscal area to the municipalities of Los Barrios, Algeciras and La Línea.
