The Free Trade Zone delegate receives the mayor of San Roque at the Consortium headquarters

Jorge Ramos and Juan Carlos Ruiz Boix explored the possibility of carrying out joint actions in the Campo-Gibraltar municipality

During the meeting, the possibility of Zona Franca developing a Business Center and implementing a tax facility in San Roque was addressed, within the framework of its expansion project.

The mayor requested the collaboration of Zona Franca to launch a Customer Acquisition Day in the municipality

This meeting is part of the line of cooperation between institutions carried out by the Cádiz Free Trade Zone with different town councils and entities.

The Special Delegate of the State in the Free Zone of Cádiz, Jorge Ramos, received last Friday morning the mayor of San Roque, Juan Carlos Ruiz Boix, at the Consortium's Headquarters, in a meeting in which both parties explored the possibility of opening lines of cooperation between the Free Zone and the San Roque City Council, in order to develop joint projects in the Campo-Gibraleño municipality.

Thus, Ramos committed to taking another step in the expansion of the Free Trade Zone with the implementation of a tax precinct in the municipality in accordance with what is contemplated in the agreement signed with Red Logística de Andalucía for the El Fresno Logistics Area.

In addition, during the meeting the possibility of studying carrying out a Consortium business center in San Roque was discussed along the lines of those already launched in recent years in Algeciras, Vejer, Jerez, Arcos or Ubrique and that provide coverage for young entrepreneurs and liberal professionals who can start their activity under very advantageous conditions.

For his part, the mayor requested the collaboration of Zona Franca to hold a customer acquisition day in San Roque.

At the end of the meeting, both parties agreed that in the next few days, technicians from both institutions will meet to advance all these actions, aimed at strengthening the business fabric, economic activity and, consequently, job creation in the municipality.
