The Consortium already has the corresponding construction license granted by the Cádiz City Council
The work will adapt obsolete spaces and facilities to adapt them to the modern business center that Zona Franca has launched in the historic building
The intervention in the central patio will be carried out according to the guidelines of restoration experts, taking into account the historical, artistic, architectural and sociological value of the building.
The Cádiz Free Trade Zone has already started Phase II of the action it is carrying out in the Cádiz Casino, once the corresponding building license has been obtained from the City Council, and has begun the work of adapting obsolete spaces and facilities to adapt them to the modern Business Center that the Consortium has launched in the historic building in the center of the Cádiz capital.
With its Business Center in the Cádiz Casino, the Cadiz Free Zone has made it possible for an emblematic building with great artistic value to house quality business facilities in a completely renovated environment, maintaining the elements that justify the protection of the building due to its historical value, thus fulfilling the objective of promoting the socioeconomic development of its area of influence for which the Free Zone was created.
This II Phase of the work, which has an amount of 118,997.07 euros (VAT not included), will centralize a large part of the action in the central patio of the building, where rehabilitation work is necessary for its conservation and where the cleaning, consolidation and chromatic reintegration of this area of the Cádiz Casino will be carried out, following the guidelines of restoration experts, who have carried out a study detailed, establishing criteria for intervention in the property taking into account its historical, artistic, architectural and sociological value.
In addition to this performance in the magnificent neo-Mudejar style patio, improvement works will be carried out in the toilet area on the mezzanine, painting and pavement repair work in common spaces and other improvements that integrate the complex and adapt it to the quality characteristics of the newly opened Business Center.
The Casino Business Center is already operating and the response from the capital's business community has been enormously positive, presenting almost 100% occupancy since its launch, with businesses belonging to diverse sectors ranging from companies related to leisure and hospitality to business entities.
