Zona Franca develops an internship program with the I.E.S. Rafael Alberti and the I.E.S. Fernando Aguilar Quignon from Cádiz

The Andalusian Documentary Services (SDA) company will host second cycle FP1 Administrative Management students for a period of 410 hours

Specifically, document management, custody, archiving and digitization tasks will be carried out.

For her part, a second-year student of the Civil Works Training Cycle will carry out 370-hour internships in the Technical Department of the Consortium.

The Cádiz Free Trade Zone continues during 2016 carrying out specific internship programs at its headquarters and in its participating companies focused on university students, Secondary and Baccalaureate students, and Vocational Training, as well as groups and associations, in order to promote the comprehensive training and professionalization of students in the province.

In this context, for yet another year, students from the Rafael Alberti Secondary Education Institute of Cádiz in the second cycle FP1 Administrative Management began an internship a few days ago at the company Servicios Documentales de Andalucía Zona Franca (SDA), dedicated to document management and external custody of files.

The practices are carried out at the SDA headquarters in the city of Cádiz, specifically in a 6,000 square meter warehouse located in the Cádiz tax area. The training received favors the acquisition of technical and methodological skills, facilitates employability and promotes entrepreneurship capacity.

The activities and tasks of the students will last for 410 hours, until next June, and are supervised by qualified personnel from the company who will guide in document consulting, document processing, storage and custody, as well as digitization and destruction of files, always maintaining the fundamental premises of Document Services of Andalusia that prioritize the security of documents and the confidentiality of all data.

On the other hand, a student in the second year of FP Civil Works Project Training Cycle from the I.E.S Fernando Aguilar Quignon will begin internships in the next few days at the headquarters of the Free Trade Zone Consortium, specifically in the Technical Department, where he will develop the concepts discussed in the training modules such as: Urbanization and Civil Works; Construction Structures; Rethinking in Construction; Measurements and Budgets; or linear works projects, among others.

In parallel to the supervision of the Free Zone technicians, who will advise and guide in day-to-day work, the content and development of the training can be subject to assessment and supervision by the teaching center through a teacher responsible for monitoring.

In addition to this type of training actions, the Consortium keeps open the guided tour program that it opened in 2013 in order to open the Institution to society. These visits are having a lot of acceptance in educational centers, institutes, neighborhood associations, professional associations, etc., who tour and learn first-hand about the services and the main companies in the Free Trade Zone and see how the Consortium has adapted to the new times and works for a primary objective: to promote business activity and serve as support for the creation of new companies in order to contribute to job creation.

Those interested in managing their visit to the Free Trade Zone can do so through the website www.zonafrancacadiz.com or by calling 901 227 227.
