The warehouses have 100% occupancy and will house projects mostly in the leather and leather goods sector.
The 10 projects, which stand out for their innovative nature, foresee a direct employment creation of 44 jobs
This action, carried out in collaboration with the Chamber of Commerce and INCYDE Foundation, contemplates the installation of activities for a maximum of three years, in order for them to be strengthened and consolidated.
The nursery, with a total investment of 1.4 million euros, has been co-financed by funds requested in the Framework of the FEDER Operational Program of Andalusia 2007-2013
Next Tuesday, March 15, the Special State delegate will proceed to the ceremony of handing over the keys and signing lease contracts for the 10 warehouses of the business incubator located in the Piel industrial estate in Ubrique and launched in collaboration with the Chamber of Commerce of Cádiz and the INCYDE Foundation.
This event will be the starting signal for the start of activity in the nursery, after obtaining the corresponding opening license from the City Council and the culmination at the end of 2015 of the marketing process carried out by Zona Franca through a Public Offer that gave a balance of 100% occupancy. The installation of the activities will be for a maximum of three years, in order for them to be strengthened and consolidated.
Cabe destacar que el 70% de los arrendatarios que recogerá la llave el próximo martes pertenece al sector de la piel y la marroquinería. Así, siete de las diez naves acogerán actividades de fabricación de marroquinería, corte de piel y forros, de grabados, de corte y confección de artículos de piel, de venta al por mayor de cueros acabados, entre otros.
Of the remaining three ships, one will be occupied by a furniture and decoration business; another will house functional training activities and services; And in the last one, a sporting event company will be installed.
The criteria for the award of the warehouses included in the aforementioned Public Offer assessed, in addition to the innovative nature, the volume of investment, the start date of the activity and the creation of direct jobs. In this sense, among all the successful offers, the creation of 44 jobs is contemplated.
Eight of the ten ships have an area of 133 m2 and have been marketed for an amount starting at 233 euros per month, while the other two have an area of 147 m2 and a rental price from 257 euros per month. All of them have mezzanines and are equipped with the best qualities, highlighting that they are all sold air-conditioned.
The good reception among the business community in the area for these quality facilities with advantageous conditions reaffirms the commitment of Zona Franca, Cámara and Fundación Incyde to carry out this new facility, which has contemplated a total investment of 1.4 million euros, co-financed by funds requested within the Framework of the FEDER Operational Program of Andalusia 2007-2013.
