The Special Delegate of the State in the Free Trade Zone of Cádiz, Jorge Ramos, received last Friday at the Social Headquarters of the Consortium the team of “trapaguías” made up of young Cádiz businessmen who have launched a project focused on the tourism sector and New Information Technologies that they will put into operation in the coming weeks.

During the meeting, they presented Jorge Ramos and part of his management team with the free “Guidy” application that combines in a single application an interactive tourist guide as well as a social network in which to share experiences and meet other travelers who in turn can interact as guides.

The “atrapaguías” team, which is made up of 18 people, explained that the application is intended for two types of users, individual clients and companies who are offered five services that are included in the motto “Live your life like your own adventure.”

One of the services “Guidy,s” is a social network to contact, share, meet and discover more than 38.5 million people throughout Europe. In fact, the application will begin with services in Spain, Italy, France, Germany, Portugal and the United Kingdom, with the intention of expanding throughout Europe in the short-medium term.

Another service of the “Guidy” application is a virtual interactive guide 24 hours, the user will be able to make a guide in real time, commenting on each monument and the experience once finished. In addition, this option is complemented with the service Guip, which reproduces all the tourist guides of the city visited and explained by a guide registered in Guidy companies.

Finally, the application offers a complete leisure and events guide with restaurants, shops, pubs and nightclubs. This service is aimed at companies, since they can register as users to publish in the section and use the application as an active advertising engine that allows all the information about the premises to be spread quickly throughout Europe.

After the presentation of the application, the Free Trade Zone delegate congratulated the young people for their work, for their commitment to innovation and for generating ideas and employment from Cádiz, a province that needs the push of entrepreneurs to strengthen the productive fabric and create employment and wealth. Ramos made the Free Zone services available to the “trapaguías” team, especially the network of Business Centers in the province where they could settle in modern facilities with the most competitive prices.
