The Consortium already has the corresponding license granted by the Cádiz City Council
During the weekend, the building was completely fumigated and the restoration of the central patio of this building that dates back to the 18th century will soon be undertaken.
The Business Center that the Cádiz Free Trade Zone has developed inside the Cádiz Casino, in the heart of the Cádiz capital and whose occupancy is already at 90%, already has all the furniture for the offices and the coworking room complete, which has been arriving throughout the weekend and which will allow the total and immediate occupation of the facilities, taking into account that most of the offices there are already covered. they locate.
In addition, the Consortium already has in its possession the corresponding license from the Cádiz City Council for the start of the activity of this Business Center, which has been very well received by the Cádiz business community and with businesses belonging to diverse sectors ranging from companies related to leisure and hospitality to business entities.
At the same time, during the weekend the building was completely fumigated, given that the wooden floor was affected by termites as it is an old structure since the historic building dates back to the 18th century.
Likewise, Zona Franca is about to begin a new phase in the work of the Cádiz Casino, consisting of the restoration work of the central patio of the building, which has an amount of 118,997.07 euros (VAT not included) co-financed by funds requested in the Feder Operational Framework 2007-2015 and which will rehabilitate details of this large patio of Genoese marble columns built three centuries ago by a illustrious family from Cadiz.
The Casino Business Center is made up of seven office modules, two coworking rooms – with 14 and 4 workstations respectively – and a meeting room. The coworking modality, a way of working that allows independent professionals, entrepreneurs, and SMEs from different sectors to share the same workspace enjoying the comfort of settling in with furniture and complete services, has registered significant demand.
The offer of the new Zona Franca facilities includes prices ranging between 200 and 300 euros per month for offices measuring between 13 and 21 m2 in area, although the Consortium will study any proposal that has other needs for greater or lesser space.
The facilities offer added services that include counseling, cleaning, internet, electricity consumption and air conditioning, among others. In addition, users can opt for other services of the Free Zone Business Centers, such as a training classroom and meeting room.
The work has consisted of a remodeling of the interior of the emblematic building in order to modernize its infrastructure and provide the building with a business center along the lines of those that the Consortium already has in place or is developing both in Cádiz and in other municipalities of the province.
Although the Free Zone already has experience in the capital with its seven office buildings both inside and outside the Tax Precinct, the project aims to boost economic and social activity in a strategic space of the city and will mean the presence of the Free Zone in the historic center of Cádiz.
