Birth, Infrastructure and Environment S.L. is the winner of the public tender, with an execution amount of 485,293.11 euros (VAT not included) and an execution period of one month
The improvement of the building will offer greater quality and comfort to users, in line with other nearby facilities built by the Consortium, such as the Heracles or Europa buildings.
The works, for which eleven companies opted, are co-financed by funds requested in the Framework of the FEDER Operational Program of Andalusia 2007-2013
Yesterday morning, the Executive Committee of the Cádiz Free Trade Zone authorized the awarding of the rehabilitation works of the Atlas Building, located in the Interior Precinct, to the company Nacimiento, Infraestructuras y Medioambiente S.L. for an execution amount of 485,293.11 euros (VAT not included), which represents a decrease of 24.6% compared to the tender budget, which amounted to 643,624.81 euros (VAT not included).
These works, which have a completion period of one month, are necessary since the Atlas building is a facility built in the 90s and requires improvements to adapt it to the characteristics and comfort of other nearby buildings built by the Consortium, such as Heracles or Europa.
It is worth remembering that the works, co-financed by funds requested within the Framework of the FEDER Operational Program of Andalusia 2007-2013, were put out to tender on October 30 and eleven companies have chosen to carry them out.
The rehabilitation project includes replacing the façade cladding, which has deteriorated over time, in addition to the staircase enclosure structure, which has lost its insulating properties over the years.
The air conditioning system, the automatic control system of the facilities, the current lighting fixtures will also be replaced with LED lighting fixtures, the installation of photovoltaic panels and the improvements that result in energy efficiency, among other improvements.
