Zona Franca commissions the studies prior to the La Línea Business Center project

Pujol y Cruz Arquitectos will be in charge of determining the conditions surrounding the bunker classified as BIC existing on the plot

The Consortium is advancing in the preliminary work and has also completed the geotechnical study of the terrain

The building will have a unique design and will be a landmark for the city, being able to reach 10 floors with a viewpoint overlooking the Bay.

The Cádiz Free Trade Zone has taken another important step in the development of the construction project of the La Línea Business Center by commissioning the study prior to the project that will be carried out on the plot located on Avenida de Europa and Julián Besteiro street in La Línea to determine the conditions surrounding fort 165 of the Campo de Gibraltar Bunker Catalog.

The company Pujol y Cruz Arquitectos will be in charge of carrying out these studies that will analyze the impact and relationship of the new equipment with this bunker, which must respect the performance as it is classified as an Asset of Cultural Interest (BIC). The proposal for planning the plot will be ready within 15 days and it will then be submitted to the Junta de Andalucía and the La Línea City Council.

Zona Franca aims to shorten the deadlines as much as possible and has also completed the geotechnical study of the plot, which will allow the drafting of the project to be put out to tender soon.

The Consortium intends for this Business Center to be a unique building that represents a landmark for the city, and can even reach up to 10 floors in height with a viewpoint on the top floor with an impressive projection over the Bay.

This action is the result of a protocol of intentions signed at the end of August between the delegate of the Free Trade Zone, Jorge Ramos, and the mayor of La Línea, Juan Franco, who agreed to the development of a business center with the same quality characteristics and services as those that the Consortium has spread throughout the province, promoting entrepreneurial activity and offering quality facilities to the business community in the area.
