The Consortium's technical team has already visited the municipality to study urban planning details prior to future actions.
The State delegate in the Cádiz Free Trade Zone, Jorge Ramos, accompanied by technicians and directors of the Consortium, visited Castellar de la Frontera on Friday, in whose Town Hall he held a meeting with the mayor of the municipality, Juan Casanova, the deputy mayor, Pilar Lobato, and other members of the local Government and the technical team of the Consistory.
The meeting represents another step in the development of joint actions in Castellar, a collaboration that the heads of both institutions agreed upon during their first meeting held at the end of September at the Consortium's Headquarters.
Jorge Ramos and Juan Casanova, who propose productive initiatives in the town strongly linked to the environment, have committed to signing a protocol of intentions for the development of future actions, in the line of cooperation between institutions carried out by the Cádiz Free Trade Zone with different town councils and entities, in order to promote economic and business activity and job creation.
At the beginning of October, the technical team of the Free Zone held a meeting at the Castellar Town Hall to study the previous urban planning details and visited the plots located in La Almoraima that would be the subject of action and that were transferred to the Town Hall after the signing with the Ministry of Agriculture of an agreement by which the Town Hall will have two plots totaling 24 hectares. Technicians are working to determine the business needs of the area to properly channel the projects to be developed.
