The improvement of the building will offer greater quality and comfort to users, similar to other nearby facilities built by the Consortium, such as the Heracles Building or the Europa Building
The works, with a budget of 643,624.81 euros (VAT not included), are co-financed by funds requested in the Framework of the FEDER Operational Program of Andalusia 2007-2013
Eleven companies have submitted offers to carry out the rehabilitation works of the Atlas Building of the Interior Precinct of the Free Trade Zone of Cádiz, a facility built in the 90s and which needed improvements to adapt it to the characteristics and comfort of other nearby buildings carried out by the Consortium, such as the Heracles or the Europa. The deadline for submitting offers ended on Thursday the 12th.
Once the offers have been received, the qualification process for them now begins, following the requirements set out in the specifications. The entire procedure will be reported in a timely manner through the Contractor's Profile on the website www.zonafrancacadiz.com.
The works, financed by funds requested in the Framework of the FEDER Operational Program of Andalusia 2007-2013, have a base tender budget of 643,624.81 euros (VAT not included).
The Atlas Building, which is located in the Interior Precinct of the Free Trade Zone, was built in the nineties with a design and finishes from that time and, after the construction of other modern facilities such as the Heracles Building or the Europa Building, claimed an adaptation to the new times and the new image of the Consortium to gain quality and comfort for users, bringing its service offering closer to that of the rest of the buildings sold by the Cádiz Free Trade Zone.
The rehabilitation project includes replacing the façade cladding, which has deteriorated over time, in addition to the staircase enclosure structure, which has lost its insulating properties over the years.
The air conditioning system, the automatic control system of the facilities, the current lighting fixtures will also be replaced with LED lighting fixtures, the installation of photovoltaic panels and the improvements that result in energy efficiency, among other improvements.
