Zona Franca concludes the geotechnical study of the La Línea Business Center plot

Once this work is completed, an executive agreement will be signed between both parties that will give way to a public competition for the drafting of the project.

In parallel, a process will be carried out with the Culture Delegation to establish the limits of the building, preserving a bunker classified as BIC.

The delegate of the Consortium and the mayor of the town visited the site this week accompanied by technicians from both institutions

Ramos was interested in the building having a unique design that represents a milestone for the city, being able to reach 10 floors with a viewpoint overlooking the Bay.

The Cádiz Free Trade Zone has completed the geotechnical study of the plot on which it will develop a Business Center in La Línea. This was announced by the Special State Delegate, Jorge Ramos, during a visit this week to the site that will house the building, accompanied by the mayor of the municipality, Juan Franco, and the deputy mayor, Nacho Macías, as well as part of the management team and technicians of both institutions.

Ramos announced that once this work is completed, the next step is to carry out an executive agreement - he recalled that a protocol of intentions was already signed in the summer - after which the drafting of the project can be put out to public tender.

In parallel, a process will be carried out before the Culture Delegation to establish the building limits, maintaining protection over a defensive bunker, cataloged as an Asset of Cultural Interest (BIC).

During the visit, Ramos announced that the objective is for this business center to become a unique building that represents a landmark for the city, even reaching up to 10 stories high with a viewpoint on the top floor with an impressive projection over the Bay.

For his part, the Linense mayor valued that the project could be of great interest for the town, pointing out that “it will be an engine of economic development and urban regeneration of the entire area”, for which we must be grateful for the commitment that the Free Trade Zone is making for the city.

It should be remembered that this action is the result of a protocol of intentions signed at the end of August between the delegate of the Consortium and the first mayor of Linea, after which technicians both parties have been working together for its progress.

The La Línea Business Center will be an important facility for the municipality, with the same quality characteristics and services as those that the Free Zone has spread throughout the province, promoting entrepreneurial activity and offering quality facilities to the business community in the area.
