Zona Franca awarded to Construcciones Manzano SL. the works for an amount of 275,830.41 euros (VAT not included)
The project includes a 565 m2 business incubator, with 20 offices, a meeting room and a training room, among other services, within the set of nest warehouses built by Zona Franca.
The works, for which five companies opted, are co-financed by funds requested within the Framework of the FEDER Operational Program of Andalusia 2007-2013
The works for the adaptation of warehouse 28, of the group of warehouses promoted by Zona Franca de Cádiz in the Villa De Rota Industrial Estate, have begun this week. The work includes the installation of a Business Center of the CEEI Bahía de Cádiz Foundation, which will house entrepreneurs and liberal professionals who begin their activity in very advantageous conditions, generating economic activity and employment in the city.
Zona Franca awarded the works at the end of October to Construcciones Manzano S.L for an amount of 275,830.41 euros (VAT not included), which represents a 21% decrease compared to the tender budget of 349,285.06 euros (VAT not included). A total of 5 companies opted for the work, which is co-financed by funds requested within the Framework of the FEDER Operational Program of Andalusia 2007-2013 and which is scheduled to be completed at the end of this year.
It is worth remembering that this project is carried out thanks to the institutional collaboration that materialized with the signing last May of an agreement between the State delegate in the Free Zone, Jorge Ramos, and the president of the CEEI Bahía de Cádiz, Miguel Urraca, by which the Foundation was installed in the aforementioned warehouse 28 and the Free Zone would carry out the adaptation works.
The project includes the installation of the CEEI incubator on an area of 565 m2, distributed on the ground and first floors, with 20 offices of between 10.49 m2 and 25.16 m2 to provide accommodation for companies and entrepreneurs. In addition, the Center plans to offer services and use of infrastructure complementary to accommodation such as meeting rooms of 10.49 m2 and a training room of 30.09 m2, as well as the implementation of the services from the CEEI Foundation catalog in the town of Rota.
