The Executive Committee of the Consortium has given the green light to the tender for the works with a budget of 643,624.81 euros (VAT not included) and is co-financed by Funds requested within the Framework of the Feder Operational Program of Andalusia 2007-2013
The deadline to submit offers is next November 12 at 2:00 p.m.
The Free Trade Zone of Cádiz put out to tender on Friday, with the publication of the announcement in the Official State Gazette (BOE) and on the Consortium's website, the rehabilitation works of the Atlas Building of the Interior Campus, after approval by its governing body, the Executive Committee, in its last session held on Monday.
The works, financed by funds requested in the Framework of the FEDER Operational Program of Andalusia 2007-2013, have a base bidding budget of 643,624.81 euros (VAT not included) and a deadline for the presentation of offers until the next 12 November, at 2:00 p.m.
Once the offers are received, the qualification process will proceed, following the requirements set out in the specifications. The opening of technical offers is scheduled for November 17, at 11:00 a.m., whose information will be reported in a timely manner through the Contractor's Profile on the website. www.zonafrancacadiz.com.
The Atlas Building, which is located in the Interior Precinct of the Free Trade Zone, was built in the nineties with a design and finishes from that time and, after the construction of other modern facilities such as the Heracles Building or the Europa Building, claimed an adaptation to the new times and the new image of the Consortium to gain quality and comfort for users, bringing its service offering closer to that of the rest of the buildings sold by the Cádiz Free Trade Zone.
The rehabilitation project includes replacing the façade cladding, which has deteriorated over time, in addition to the staircase enclosure structure, which has lost its insulating properties over the years.
The air conditioning system, the automatic control system of the facilities, the current lighting fixtures will also be replaced with LED lighting fixtures, the installation of photovoltaic panels and the improvements that result in energy efficiency, among other improvements.
