Jorge Ramos reviewed the experience of Zona Franca Cádiz in the management of European Funds that has served to position it as one of the large investment institutions in our province
Ramos participated in the opening ceremony accompanying Antonio Sanz, delegate of the Government in Andalusia and José Mª Piñero, General Director of Community Funds of the Ministry of Finance and Public Administrations
The Special Delegate of the State in the Free Trade Zone of Cádiz, Jorge Ramos, participated this morning in the “Technical Conference on Community Funds 2014-2020 of the General Administration of the State in Andalusia”, held in Seville, in the Government Delegation in Andalusia and organized by said Delegation and the Ministry of Finance.
The delegate's intervention, called "The European Funds, an indispensable instrument for industrial development", reviewed the numerous projects carried out in the province of Cádiz co-financed with community funds and stressed the importance of the Cádiz Consortium as an intermediate body, which has also managed to increase them from 25 to 80 million euros in the last 3 years. This increase, together with other investment funds such as the Reindustrialization plans, have served to ensure that the Cádiz Free Trade Zone has a live investment underway of around 185 million euros.
Ramos participated in the opening ceremony accompanying the Government delegate in Andalusia, Antonio Sanz, who presented “The challenges for the future of Andalusia”; and the General Director of Community Funds of the Ministry of Finance and Public Administrations, José Mª Piñero Campos, who has delved into a “New approach to FEDER Programming”.
