The fishing products company Gohisa Fish España S.L. The activity on the interior enclosure of the Free Zone of Cádiz begins next week, once the commissioning and adaptation works of this Refrigerator warehouse ship have been completed.
The works have meant the implementation of this industrial cold installation, with the implementation of freezing cameras at -25º. These works will allow Gohisa Fish Spain It begins, therefore, to operate next week in Zona Franca, in facilities of 2,406 m2 that cover their business expectations for having an important industrial cold equipment in a strategic location, since the ship is on a plot of 1,389 m2 , at the foot of the Ribera dock.
In parallel, and with the company operating from Zona Franca, the works will be completed with a 0º conservation chamber (NH3) and with an elaboration room, works that will entail the disassembly of the roof, metallic structure, reconstruction of the machinery, assembly and restitution of the roof and subsequent sealed to achieve the necessary tightness.
The project that GOHISA starts at the French Zone facilities, which has an investment of 1 million euros and is co-founded by funds requested within the framework of the Feder de Andalucía 2007-2013 operating program, will make it possible to expand its products-including new species and production lines-, reduce production costs and make the company more competitive, creating 40 new jobs, both direct and indirect.
In addition to these activities, the new facilities in the free zone will allow the freezing of fresh fish from ships linked to the Bay of Cádiz, Barbate and other Andalusian fish market jobs. It should be noted that among the priority objectives of the new plant, the opening of a clean fish and cephalopod fillets production stands out.
In addition, Gohisa It has made these new facilities a base point/download, storage, sale and distribution of large foreign shipping companies dedicated to height fishing, which are slaughtered in the waters of the South Atlantic.
