The first mayor of Rota and the delegate of Zona Franca agreed on the need to resume the project of a Business Center in Rota in the line in which the Consortium carries out in other municipalities of the province, to launch it as soon as possible.
The State delegate in the Free Zone, Jorge Ramos, and the mayor of Rota, José Javier Ruiz, together with technicians from both institutions, met this morning at the Consortium's Headquarters, a meeting in which they analyzed details of the set of nest ships that the Free Zone has built in the town and reiterated their commitment to collaboration between both institutions, so that the pertinent procedures can be expedited and made effective as soon as possible. their implementation, to be able to use them in the shortest possible time.
This is the second meeting that both have held since the new mayor took office, since Jorge Ramos visited the mayor last July within the framework of the line of loyalty and institutional collaboration that Zona Franca maintains with the Rota City Council and with all the Institutions, associations and organizations of the province in order to carry out initiatives that promote economic development and job creation.
Both Ramos and Ruiz Arana agreed to continue with this form of work and to resume the construction project of a Business Center with the same characteristics as those that Zona Franca carries out in other municipalities of the province, an initiative that was already discussed in the previous meeting.
The new equipment would be built next to the entrance to the Naval Base and the foundations have already been laid for technicians from both administrations to begin to outline and analyze the design and feasibility of the action.
It should be remembered that, in addition, Zona Franca is currently promoting the adaptation works of warehouse 28, in which the CEEI Bahía de Cádiz is going to be installed and that, with an area of 586 m2, it will have 20 offices of between 10.49 m2 and 25.16 m2 to provide accommodation for companies and entrepreneurs, also offering services and use of complementary infrastructure to the accommodation such as meeting rooms. of 10.49 m2 and a training room of 30.09 m2, as well as implementing the services of the CEEI Foundation catalog in the town of Rota.
