The Cádiz Institution has signed an agreement with the teaching entity, by which students of all degrees taught by the US will be able to opt for these internships
The Consortium already has experience in this type of activity with several educational centers in the province of Cádiz
The Cádiz Free Zone is carrying out specific internship programs in its facilities and in those of its participating companies focused on university students, secondary and high school students, as well as groups and associations, in order to promote the comprehensive training and professionalization of future workers and entrepreneurs in the province.
In this context, students from the University of Seville will be able to carry out their internships this year in the Free Trade Zone of Cádiz after the State delegate, Jorge Ramos, and the vice-rector of Technology Transfer of the University of Seville, Ramón González, have signed a collaboration agreement in this regard.
Students of all courses taught at the Seville university will be able to opt for these internships, with the aim of applying and complementing the knowledge acquired in their academic training, favoring the acquisition of skills that prepare them for the exercise of professional activities, facilitate their employability and promote their entrepreneurial capacity.
The Cádiz Free Trade Zone already has experience in this type of activities and students from different educational centers and entities in the province of Cádiz have developed internships in its facilities, expanding and putting into practice their academic training.
It should be noted that during the last year, students of the Intermediate Degree in Administrative Management from the Cádiz Institute carried out a practical training program in the company Servicios Documentales de Andalucía Zona Franca (SDA), dedicated to document management and external custody of files, and in Desarrollos Empresariales, another of the Zona Franca companies.
A collaboration agreement was also signed with the University of Cádiz by which an internship program was developed at the Algeciras Free Warehouse for students of different courses of the Business Degree.
In addition, young people from the Cádiz Autism Association carried out internships in different departments of the Consortium and acquired knowledge about archiving tasks, documentation, etc.
In addition to this type of training actions, the Consortium also works to open the Institution to society, and in this sense it should be noted that at the beginning of 2013 it launched a program of guided tours of its facilities that are being widely accepted in educational centers, institutes, neighborhood associations, professional schools, etc., who tour and learn first-hand about the services and the main companies in the Free Zone and check how the Consortium has adapted to the new times. and works for a primary objective: to promote business activity and serve as support for the creation of new companies in order to contribute to job creation
