Zona Franca de Cádiz, AJE Cádiz and AJE Málaga organized a Business Meeting in Algeciras this morning that brought together more than 40 young businessmen from different parts of this area of Andalusia. In addition to networking and quick business rounds, attendees have been able to see first-hand the facilities of the Nexus Building, as well as the special conditions offered by the Cádiz Free Trade Zone Consortium aimed at young businessmen and entrepreneurs.

Prior to the development of the Networking, which included a coaching session to prepare for the meeting with the Cádiz company Activa Talento, the presentation of the day took place by the State delegate Jorge Ramos, and the president of AJE Cádiz, Jesús Belgrano, and the president of AJE Málaga, Enrique de Hoyos. The mayor of Algeciras, José Ignacio Landaluce, joined the session, who despite his busy activity today wanted to be with the young entrepreneurs, whom he encouraged to undertake.

The Special Delegate of the State in the Free Trade Zone announced at the opening of the day the imminent signing of an agreement with AJE Cádiz for the granting of scholarships for entrepreneurs for a maximum amount per business initiative of up to 6,000 euros. Ramos has stressed that it is necessary to guarantee the implementation of good business projects, for which he will provide up to 60,000 euros in 2016 to be able to help the implementation of the projects that are selected by AJE Cádiz and Zona Franca itself.

In this sense, Ramos has highlighted the full collaboration between both organizations and has explained that the Free Trade Zone has a firm commitment to promoting the business fabric of the province and "this is what we are doing," also alluding to the great expansion project of the Free Trade Zone to several municipalities in the province and especially to Campo de Gibraltar.

He has also reported on the advantages, not only the customs and fiscal benefits of the Fiscal Precinct, that the Institution offers to businessmen and entrepreneurs, who have been encouraged to settle in the productive spaces and business centers that the Free Zone has in the province.

For his part, Jesús Belgrano has highlighted the role of an Association as structured as AJE "capable of uniting young entrepreneurs from all over Spain in a matter of minutes thanks to the extensive network of contacts that the Association has at the national level." Likewise, he has called for unity: “let us not divide to do the same thing, let us join forces to strengthen ourselves.”

Unlike other Business meetings in Andalusia, for this edition we have worked on a new initiative differentiating from the rest of the speednetworking calls consisting of infiltrating the figure of a Business Angels during the card exchange session, which has aroused the interest of attendees who had a special incentive, such as the possibility of receiving an injection of liquidity for their project.

Businessmen and women from various sectors, such as Graphic Design, Communication, Training, Medical Services, IT, Consulting or Languages, have put their common ground in search of business synergies in order to develop possible avenues of collaboration or commercial actions.

The Speednetworking session consisted of the usual bilateral meetings organized by AJE where each participant talks for 2 minutes with another and vice versa and after which they change places once the whistle blows. In that time (approximately 4 minutes), cards are exchanged, their respective products and services are discussed, and even commercial agreements are reached.

Today's business day has been considered a success as places were sold out in a few hours and registration had to be closed in advance.
