This work will allow the Consortium to know the characteristics of the soil and propose the competition of ideas for the drafting of the project.
In a meeting held at the beginning of the month, the technical teams of both institutions defined the basic lines of action
The building will have an area of between 5,000 and 6,000 m2 intended for entrepreneurs and already consolidated companies.
The Cádiz Free Trade Zone has already begun the procedures to carry out the geotechnical study of the plot on which the Cádiz Consortium will build the La Línea Business Center. This work will allow Zona Franca to know the characteristics of the land on which it will work and, in this way, proceed to propose the competition of ideas for drafting the project.
The Consortium technicians are working together with the Linense City Council to develop this action and at the beginning of this month they held a meeting in which the basic lines of work of the project were defined, which is the result of the agreement signed at the end of August between the State delegate, Jorge Ramos, and the first mayor of Linense, Juan Franco.
In the meeting held, the characteristics of the land were already analyzed in advance, as well as various details of the new business center that will be carried out on an unbeatably located land, on a plot of about 4,000 square meters, classified as reserved equipment for urban planning purposes, which is in the heart of La Línea and just 200 meters from Gibraltar.
The Free Trade Zone plans to issue a public call to tender the drafting of the project this last quarter of the year. In this way, works could begin in the first quarter of 2016.
The La Línea Business Center will be an important facility for the municipality, with the same quality characteristics and services as those that the Free Zone has spread throughout the province, promoting entrepreneurial activity and offering quality facilities to the business community in the area.
The building will have a surface area of between 5,000 and 6,000 square meters, of which 40% will be allocated to entrepreneurs under very advantageous conditions, facilities that have received immediate response from the business community in other municipalities such as Cádiz, Algeciras, Arcos or Vejer, where the Free Trade Zone has facilities of this type. The other 60% of the business center will be dedicated to established companies and liberal professionals.
The project includes an emblematic building made up of offices, offices, meeting and coworking rooms, the service offered by Zona Franca with great acceptance and for which the professional has an office from 50 euros per month, sharing a room with other businessmen.
