The Special Delegate of the State in the Cádiz Free Trade Zone Consortium visited this morning, accompanied by part of the Consortium's technical team, the works of the adaptation project as a Business Center of premises in the Higinio shopping complex, in the Urbisur industrial estate in Chiclana.
The works, which act on a total area of 1,800 m2, are advancing at a very good pace, with an execution percentage of approximately 70% and the masonry, coatings, carpentry works are already underway, in addition to having begun to execute the electricity and voice-data, fire protection, air conditioning, plumbing and sanitation installations, which will allow the works to be completed at the end of August, thus meeting the planned execution deadline. In this way, once the opening license has been requested and approved, the Center will be able to be operational at the end of summer.
This action, whose works by Gyocivil began last May, settles a debt contracted with the municipality of Chiclana and is forming a modern facility, thought and designed seeking maximum versatility, which will allow meeting the needs of young businessmen and entrepreneurs of the municipality who will be able to start their activities with all the advantages, in a professional work environment and at very competitive prices, reactivating and consolidating the business fabric of the municipality and the zone.
In fact, the delegate recalled during the visit that, to speed up the entire marketing process of the building and so that the business community can begin its activity in the shortest possible time once the works are completed, Zona Franca has already opened the Public Offer for the marketing of the 18 offices that the new Business Center will house and which has the deadline for the presentation of offers as September 10. Thus, the Public Offer states that the 18 offices, which are located on the first floor and have a surface area of between 25 and 50 m2 They have rental prices that range between 160.8 and 276.8 euros per month, once the additional bonuses are applied, since interested parties can access discounts on rental income of 20% in the first year and 10% in the second. This price includes furniture and cleaning, as well as the use of the meeting room, all in line with the services and benefits offered by the Free Trade Zone in its business centers throughout the province.
Furthermore, the building is 875 m2 of commercial premises on the ground floor that will be marketed depending on the space needs of the entrepreneurs. All facilities have been built with an exterior façade and, therefore, full visibility from the main road access to the city.
This Business Center, whose work has been co-financed by Funds requested within the Framework of the Feder Operational Program of Andalusia 2007-2013, has been carried out with the common objective that prevails in other municipalities in which Zona Franca has similar actions, such as Cádiz, El Puerto de Santa María, Algeciras, Jerez, Arcos and Vejer, which is none other than to enhance the business and social fabric and, consequently, contribute to the activity economic and generation of employment.
