AJE Cádiz and Zona Franca promote entrepreneurship with the signing of the Dédalo agreement

The signing, by the Consortium delegate, Jorge Ramos, and the president of the Young Entrepreneurs, Jesús Belgrano, took place this morning at the Andalusian Documentary Services facilities in Seville, prior to the Business Meeting organized by AJE Cádiz, with the support of Zona Franca de Cádiz and AJE Sevilla, whose president, Jorge Robles, was also present at the event.

The State delegate in the Free Trade Zone of Cádiz, Jorge Ramos, and the president of the Association of Young Entrepreneurs of the province (AJE Cádiz), Jesús Belgrano, have signed today, in the presence of the president of AJE Seville, Jorge Robles, a collaboration agreement in order to promote entrepreneurial culture in the province, key to the creation of companies and job creation. The signing took place during the Business Meeting held in Seville, at the facilities of Documentary Services of Andalusia (SDA), a company of the Cádiz Consortium.

Under this agreement, the Dédalo Project is launched, an initiative developed by AJE Cádiz and the Local Administration that combines its commitment to it, based on supporting local entrepreneurs and the execution of activities created led by young entrepreneurs and businessmen who have had success and recognized prestige in their business initiatives, and who lend their knowledge and experiences to guide other people in the adventure of starting their own business or getting started in the self-employment.

The signing of this agreement also aims not only to train local entrepreneurs with the experience of AJE associates, but also to promote self-employment, entrepreneurship and business creation, as well as to energize the business fabric of the province and work with groups at risk in order to offer them valid job opportunities.

For their part, those young entrepreneurs under 41 years of age, associated with AJE, will enjoy advantageous conditions to opt for the wide range of services and facilities offered by the Cádiz Free Trade Zone and its companies. These are discounts on the official rates both in permanent office contracts in the Business Centers of Cádiz, Algeciras or El Puerto de Santa María, in addition to those that are opened, a 30% discount on rental of meeting rooms, classrooms and assembly halls of the indicated Business Centers, or in subscriptions for parking spaces in the Altura, Carranza, Glorieta and Loreto public car parks according to the proximity to the registered office of the AJE associate's company; as well as a reduction on the official rates for custody, consultation, transfer, destruction and document digitization services provided by Documentary Services of Andalusia.

Furthermore, AJE, in order to promote business revitalization in the Free Zone Business Centers, makes available to entrepreneurs housed in facilities managed by CZFC who wish to join the AJE, a full provision of services on equal terms with the rest of the associates: advice, media promotion, information, awards, etc. In addition, a free offer of AJE Cádiz services for six months will be made available to entrepreneurs currently housed in facilities managed by CZFC who wish to join the AJE.

Jorge Ramos and Jesús Belgrano were satisfied with the agreement and highlighted the importance of this type of action, even more so in a situation like the current one in which having the support of an entity with the guarantee and experience offered by the Free Trade Zone makes work easier for companies in difficult times.

The delegate of the Free Trade Zone pointed out that this agreement, which reinforces the one signed last December, "aims to promote self-employment, entrepreneurship, business creation and new jobs by training and supporting new entrepreneurs." The Free Zone delegate highlighted the advantages and special conditions that his Institution has for young entrepreneurs, both belonging to the AJE and for those who are clients of the business centers that the Free Zone has developed throughout the province of Cádiz.

For his part, the president of the AJE, Jesús Belgrano, thanked the delegate and the entire Free Trade Zone team for their work to make this agreement come to fruition and expressed his satisfaction for having the Free Trade Zone, which "is a fundamental piece for the development of the province and a firm support and guarantee for Cádiz companies." Belgrano stated that "the price advantages are valued enormously and more in these times and at the same time allow us to compete in better conditions, in addition to being able to have a fluid exchange of information, support and advice."

Jorge Ramos encouraged the entrepreneurial sector to enjoy the advantages of having a Free Zone that is constantly growing and that is “the great industrial and business hub and true logistics aircraft carrier of the province of Cádiz.”

Prior to the signing of the agreement, the participants visited the facilities of Documentary Services of Seville, a company in the Cádiz Free Trade Zone, with a tour guided by company technicians who explained the main functions carried out by the company, dedicated to consulting, external custody and digitization of files. Subsequently, the Speednetworking began, which brought together more than 40 young entrepreneurs from Seville and Cádiz, and whose event was a success as the places were sold out in a short time.
