The delegate of the Free Trade Zone meets with the mayor of Rota at the city hall

The delegate and the mayor, accompanied by Zona Franca technicians, visited the 28 nest warehouses that Zona Franca has built in the “Villa de Rota” industrial estate and which are already at more than 50% occupancy.

The State delegate in the Free Trade Zone, Jorge Ramos, visited the new mayor of Rota, José Javier Ruiz Arana, at the city's City Hall yesterday Thursday morning to share and have a first contact about the projects that the Consortium has underway and plans to develop in the municipality.

The visit was framed in the line of loyalty and institutional collaboration that Zona Franca maintains with the Rota City Council and with all the Institutions, associations and organizations of the province in order to carry out initiatives that promote economic development and job creation.

For this reason, both Ramos and Ruiz Arana agreed to resume contacts to carry out a Business Center next to the entrance to the Naval Base, for which technicians from both institutions will meet to outline and analyze the design and viability of the action.

Likewise, the delegate and the mayor, accompanied by Zona Franca technicians, visited one of the projects that has seen the light of day as a result of collaboration between institutions, such as the construction of the 28 nest warehouses of the “Villa de Rota” industrial estate, which is already more than 50% occupied.

It should be remembered that, in addition, Zona Franca is currently promoting the adaptation works of warehouse 28, in which the CEEI Bahía de Cádiz is going to be installed and that, with an area of ​​586 m2, it will have 20 offices of between 10.49 m2 and 25.16 m2 to provide accommodation for companies and entrepreneurs, also offering services and use of complementary infrastructure to the accommodation such as meeting rooms. of 10.49 m2 and a training room of 30.09 m2, as well as implementing the services of the CEEI Foundation catalog in the town of Rota.
