Students of the higher cycle of Administration and Finance of the Alberti Institute of Cádiz visit the Free Trade Zone

A group of students from the Higher Cycle of Administration and Finance of the Rafael Alberti Institute of Cádiz visited yesterday Thursday the facilities of the Free Trade Zone in Cádiz, within the open doors program of the Consortium to make citizens aware of their work and that of the companies installed in its Interior Campus.

The day began in the auditorium of the Heracles Building, where the head of Human Resources of the Zona Franca, Raquel Penco, offered a talk about the projects that the Consortium is carrying out in Cádiz and other municipalities in the province, where it is developing the largest network of Business Centers in Andalusia and is immersed in a project to expand and expand tax precincts to other municipalities in the province such as Jerez, Algeciras, Los Barrios and La Línea.

After visiting the Melkart building, the group took a walking tour of the tax area – scale, Atlas building, Harinera Vilafranquina, paddle tennis courts, among others – until they reached the Europa building where the students and teachers visited the Business Center on the 3rd and 4th floors. One of the Center's managers guided them through the training and coworking rooms, one of the services that is most popular among young entrepreneurs in the capital.

Subsequently, the group visited the facilities of the Documentary Services of Andalusia (SDA), where they were shown the work and details of this archive management, digitization, document custody, and destruction service that, in addition to the Cádiz headquarters, is also located in Seville and Algeciras.

Finally, students and teachers ended their visit in the Plenary Hall of the Institution, where they were received by the Special Delegate of the State, Jorge Ramos, who thanked them for their interest in the Consortium and invited them to delve into everything related to international trade through the day-to-day life of the Free Zone in future visits.

The guided tour program, launched by the Free Trade Zone in 2013, has as its main objective to make the Institution known to Cádiz society and, specifically, to young people, who are involved in the activity and projects that are being carried out.
