Zona Franca puts out to tender the demolition work of Talleres Faro

The Consortium has already requested the license to execute the work, whose execution period is 3 months

This action follows the steps of the one carried out in Abelló Linde and is part of the process of reorganization of the Outdoor Industrial Estate that the Consortium carries out with the Cádiz City Council through OPEX

On Tuesday, the Free Trade Zone of Cádiz put out to tender the demolition works of the old Talleres Faro facilities in the Outdoor Estate of the Free Trade Zone, specifically on Ronda de Vigilancia street on the corner of Tarifa street, in one more step in the process of reorganization of the Outdoor Precinct that the Consortium is carrying out with the City Council of Cádiz through the Office for Attracting Investments of the Outdoor Park of the Zone Frank, OPEX.
The deadline for submitting offers for these works, which have a tender budget of 198,932.54 euros (VAT not included) co-financed by funds granted in the Feder de Andalucía 2007-2013 operational framework, ends next June 1.
The Consortium, which has already presented the project and requested the license at the Cádiz City Council, intends to speed up the procedures to begin this new action, which is added to the start this Tuesday of the demolition of the old Abelló Linde buildings.
The work, which has a completion period of three months, affects the buildings located on a 6,020 m plot². The facilities that will be demolished are the main industrial building of 5,995 m², inside which there are several smaller warehouses, and a 420 m office building².
Attached to the facilities described, there is another industrial building, located on Ronda de Vigilancia street, which will not be demolished, as will a Transformation Center owned by Eléctrica de Cádiz.
The Free Trade Zone acquired the Talleres Faro warehouse from the municipal company EMASA for an amount of 2.8 million euros, located at the entrance to the city, in the execution unit UE-ZF-11, one of the priority execution areas when starting the remodeling works of the Exterior Precinct and which will undergo an exceptional transformation, with extensive commercial and hotel equipment, along with garden areas and parking lots, generating economic activity. and wealth for all Cadiz residents.
