The Consortium acts in this way, as stated in its Statutes, generating economic activity and establishing a procedure with all the safeguards provided for in Organic Law 15/1999 on the Protection of Personal Data (LOPD).
In the coming days, the Free Trade Zone of Cádiz will open a specific channel by telematic means for receiving job resumes in order to create a fluid and agile mechanism that will allow the employment demands of Cádiz residents to be effectively channeled to the companies that are going to set up in the current Tax Precinct or in those that have arisen thanks to its expansion plan to the province and for which it will exceed 300,000 m2 that the Cádiz site currently has at 1,300,000 m2 in Jerez, Los Barrios, Algeciras, La Línea, Arcos and Puerto Real and also Cádiz capital with the expansion of its current site to the Altadis lands.
This mechanism will be launched in parallel, but completely independent, to another that receives internal employment demands for the Free Trade Zone and its investee companies. While this will provide coverage to the Zona Franca Group for its own job offer, the “job pool” For external companies that set up shop, it will be a tool that will more quickly and efficiently transmit existing job demands to the company when carrying out its selection processes. This entire procedure will be carried out after acceptance by both companies and job seekers, with all the safeguards provided for by Organic Law 15/1999 on the Protection of Personal Data (LOPD).
This initiative is also intended to reach a consensus with the city councils of the municipalities in which the new venues will be opened. –Cádiz, Jerez, Los Barrios, Algeciras, La Línea, Arcos and Puerto Real– so that this “bag of plaintiffs”” of employment is as complete and has the greatest possible dissemination when participating in selection processes.
The expansion of the Free Trade Zone to the province is one of the most important projects for Cádiz in the coming years and will position the Consortium as the first economic and industrial center in the province. The generation of new tax precincts will attract investments and, therefore, companies that will mostly require labor to develop their new initiatives. Therefore, a scenario of job creation opens up in different sectors that Zona Franca intends, with this initiative, to channel and energize in order to speed up the deadlines in the selection processes and cover the largest possible number of job seekers.
