The action will be completed with a comprehensive cleaning of the plot with clearing and elimination of vegetation
The Free Trade Zone of Cádiz will undertake works, as a matter of urgency, on the plot of the old Aeronautical Constructions (CASA), in response to the request made by the Cádiz City Council in that regard. The Consortium has already started the necessary procedures to carry out the work in the shortest possible time.
The works, which have an estimated cost of 40,000 euros, include the demolition of the 250-meter concrete block wall, which is in poor condition, and its replacement with an enclosure with a simple twist fence two meters high for a total of 450 meters, along Marconi Street, Lacave Avenue and Guadalcacín Street. A comprehensive cleaning of the site will also be carried out, with clearing and elimination of existing vegetation.
In recent years, the Cádiz Consortium has already carried out several actions aimed at maintaining and improving the CASA plot. In 2013, and also at the request of the City Council, the site was comprehensively cleaned and shanties that had been installed on the plot were removed. After the completion of these cleaning works, the Free Trade Zone proceeded in the same year to regenerate the wall and perimeter fence.
