In the coming days, the Free Trade Zone of Cádiz will proceed with the contracting of the works to clean up and preserve the Plaza de Loreto and correct the deficiencies that affect the underground parking, at the request of the City Council and the Neighborhood Association of the neighborhood, which have detected that the passage of years and inclement weather have caused damage to this equipment.
These works, with a planned budget of 33,600 euros (VAT not included), will address the various deficiencies that the square above the underground has caused by water leaks in the parking lot, defects that are mainly located in the flower beds and windowsills of the square, as well as in the vertical walls of the access towers to the parking lot.
The works will consist of cutting the aforementioned walls and the enclosing walls of the accesses to the parking lot and the flower beds. Action will also be taken to clean the windowsills of the latter, which will be dismantled, cleaned and replaced. Damaged areas of asphalt will then be replaced and subsequently reconstructed, which will be carried out by placing scratches on which it will be plastered, thus avoiding pathologies in the future. Finally, the work will be completed by painting and placing the corresponding finishes.
