Zona Franca requests the construction license for the business incubator that is going to be developed in the Palmones Industrial Estate

The action, whose execution budget is 1,880,888 euros (VAT not included), comes to light after the signing of the agreement between the Free Zone, the Chamber of Commerce and the Incyde Foundation

The Free Trade Zone of Cádiz has requested the construction license from the Los Barrios City Council to expedite the necessary procedures to carry out the construction of the 14 industrial warehouses that will house the business incubator in the Palmones Industrial Estate, in Los Barrios.
The Cádiz Free Zone Consortium, the Campo de Gibraltar Chamber of Commerce, and the INCYDE Foundation (Instituto Cameral de Creación y Desarrollo de la Empresa) of the chambers of commerce signed on Tuesday the agreement that launches this action, which will consist of 14 industrial warehouses located in the Business and Technology Park of the Marismas de Palmones, in Los Barrios, intended for entrepreneurs in the sector.
The project, which will be put out to tender in the coming days with an execution budget of 1,880,888 euros (VAT not included), has an investment of 2.8 million euros, eighty percent contributed by the European Regional Development Fund through the INCYDE Foundation and the remaining twenty percent, by the Cádiz Free Zone Consortium.
The set of warehouses will be located on plot T3-2 of the Marismas de Palmones Business and Technology Park, in Los Barrios, which has an area of ​​3,795 m2, and will consist of 14 industrial warehouses of 240 m2 intended for entrepreneurs in the sector and that will have a 35 m2 mezzanine.
The agreement establishes that the property will remain in the hands of the Cádiz Free Zone Consortium, while its management and administration will be developed jointly with the INCYDE Foundation and the collaboration of the Chamber of Commerce, an entity that will work on the revitalization of the incubator and the dissemination of its services, all within the deadlines designated by FEDER.
A commission, made up of these three entities, will be in charge of selecting the applicants who wish to settle in the business incubator. This selection will be carried out in accordance with the guidelines set by the FEDER Operational program through the instructions of the INCYDE Foundation.
