The State delegate in the Free Trade Zone of Cádiz, Jorge Ramos, and the CEO of the Altadis company, Juan Arrizabalaga Azurmendi, will sign next Thursday, March 5, the acquisition of the land occupied by the tobacco company in the capital of Cadiz, annexed to the Tax Precinct and which include the existing facilities there, and which will make it possible for the Free Zone to have 130,000 m2 more in the city of Cadiz.
This signing represents a decisive step in the process of expansion and expansion of the Tax Precinct, after the Executive Committee and the Plenary Session authorized the purchase of Altadis and the expansion of the precinct respectively in the sessions held on February 9. The total investment that the Free Trade Zone will carry out in this operation will be 37.6 million euros, including the existing facilities and buildings on the land occupied by the former tobacco factory and which will have to undergo small modifications, such as exterior enclosures, installation of security cameras, etc., with the objective that the surface that will now be annexed to the Site meets the same conditions as it.
