The State delegate in the Free Trade Zone, Jorge Ramos, and the mayor of Rota, Eva Corrales, together with her Government partner, Lorenzo Sánchez, and technicians from the company Acciona, in charge of the works, yesterday visited the warehouses that the Cádiz Consortium is building in the town and whose work is about to be completed.
During the visit, Jorge Ramos expressed his gratitude to the Rota City Council for its collaboration in this project and to the company Acciona, congratulating himself on the level of the works on this industrial estate, the infrastructure that the town of Rota will have from now on and the importance of this estate as a means of generating economic activity and wealth in the municipality.
The Free Trade Zone delegate expressed his satisfaction with this new industrial estate, which he considers a magnificent product at very competitive prices, and that around 50% has been committed to its sale. Finally, it was made available to the mayor and the Rota City Council to continue carrying out actions along these lines.
Eva Corrales thanked the support received from the Government of the Nation through the Free Zone for the realization of this project, which has 28 warehouses that will cover the needs of local businessmen and entrepreneurs, also thanking the Acciona company for the work done.
Likewise, Eva Corrales was satisfied with the demand registered from the town's Economic Development office, where information has been offered to all those interested in acquiring these ships and the conditions for their acquisition.
Of the total of 28 warehouses built, eight of them have already been sold and three are pending formalization, although there are many businessmen and entrepreneurs interested.
To facilitate the procedures for the acquisition of these ships, as reported by the Special Delegate of the State, contacts are being maintained with a financial entity with which the financing of these ships has been proposed.
The work carried out consisted of the construction of a set of nest ships made up of four modules with similar characteristics that are distributed symmetrically on the plot. Each module is made up of seven naves, one larger in the corner and six in between, all of them composed of a ground floor and a mezzanine. The warehouses, all built to the best quality, are built on a plot of 5,350 m2 and the total constructed area is 7,407.83 m².
