The new lighting of the Interior Enclosure, whose renovation has a budget of 199,198.05 (VAT not included), will mean a reduction in cost of more than 65%
At the same time, a renovation of the entire air conditioning system of the Headquarters will be carried out, with a budget of 198,340.49 euros (VAT not included), which will provide greater comfort at a lower cost.
The Cádiz Free Trade Zone has begun the procedures to carry out the renovation works of the public lighting of the Interior Campus, and the air conditioning system of the Headquarters, projects that will result in energy savings of more than 65%, while improving performance at a much lower price.
The Consortium plans the new lighting installation in accordance with current needs, using the new existing technologies for energy saving, consisting of LED-type luminaires.
In this way, the Consortium will adapt the new facilities to energy efficiency criteria in outdoor lighting, reducing light pollution, while at the same time achieving modernization of the facilities and therefore reducing their maintenance costs.
The works, which will have a completion period of four months and a budget of 199,198.05 euros (VAT not included), will consist of the installation of arms, supports and other works necessary for the commissioning of the facilities, as well as the removal of the light points and corresponding wiring that is out of service once the new LEDs have been placed.
At the same time, the Free Trade Zone has also started all the procedures for the works that will modify the air conditioning system of the Headquarters building in order to optimize resources. Thus, the project plans to sectorize by use zones depending on the thermal needs of each area, which will also result in significant savings and greater comfort for users at any time of the year.
The budget amounts to 198,340.49 euros (VAT not included) and the execution period is four months. Both works are co-financed with funds granted in the Feder Operational Program of Andalusia 2007-2013.
