Authorized a global investment of 14.7 million euros for the Harinera warehouse, of which 13.7 correspond to a construction tender

The new Harinera Vilafranquina warehouse in the Campus will connect with the current plant with an aerial walkway
The building will have an area of ​​631.28 m2, a maximum height of 47.10 meters and a storage capacity of 7,933 m3.

 
The Free Trade Zone will put out to tender in the coming days, after today's approval by the Executive Committee, the work of the new silo warehouse that will expand the facilities of Harinera Vilafranquina in the Interior Area and that will connect with the current plant through an aerial walkway, forming with it a functional unit.
The expansion of this company's facilities will have a total investment of 14.75 million euros including machinery, of which 13.7 million correspond to the bidding for the work, financed by Funds requested within the Framework of the FEDER Operational Program of Andalusia 2007-2013. The action also has bridge financing of 12 million euros.
 This is one of the most important projects for the city's economy since it will generate economic activity, by increasing the storage capacity of Vilafranquina by 7,933 m3.
The construction, consisting of an installation of aerial metal silos intended for the collection of flour, will have an area of ​​631.28 m2 with a maximum height of 47.10 meters. This silo module will be adjacent to the existing grain warehouses although separate from the existing flour production building and connected only by the aforementioned aerial walkway at the top.
The new ship will be a rectangular plant of dimensions 30.35 x 20.80 meters and will have several levels. The first level will be used for truck loading, clean production area, accesses, warehouses and compressor room. The following levels will be used for machinery and process equipment, while at the last level the filling of the silos will be carried out.
The investment in machinery, consisting of a weighing system, hoist, storage silos, installation of mechanical equipment, sanitary equipment, elevator and pallet racking, amounts to 8.3 million euros.
The expansion of the Harinera facilities has co-financing from Feder Funds within the 2007-20013 framework and is guaranteed the return on investment and its self-financing with separate lease contracts with the agri-food company for both the plot and the future building, for a period of 30 years.
