The Chamber will support, among other initiatives, the recruitment of new companies for the Free Zone premises and the marketing of the new building in Algeciras
The Special Delegate of the State in the Cádiz Free Zone Consortium, Jorge Ramos, and the president of the Campo de Gibraltar Chamber of Commerce, Carlos Fenoy, have agreed today to collaborate and work together for the development of the different and important projects that the Cádiz Free Zone is carrying out in the Campo de Gibraltar.
The most ambitious action in the region, the project to expand and enlarge the Tax Precinct to Los Barrios, Algeciras and La Línea, will focus an important part of the efforts, since we must not forget that the size of this project will make the Cádiz Institution quadruple its land throughout the province.
In this way, the Chamber will support the work of attracting companies to install them in the facilities that the Free Trade Zone will have in Algeciras (Los Pastores) and Los Barrios (El Fresno), in addition to collaborating in the search for possible spaces for the location of the facility in La Línea. The Campo-Gibraltar entity will work together with the Free Trade Zone in the design and interior organization of the facilities and in the creation of the necessary infrastructure (buildings, warehouses, etc.)
At the same time, the Chamber and the Free Trade Zone will also work together on the marketing of office modules and premises of the new building that the Consortium is finishing in Algeciras, precisely located next to the Chamber.
This new construction, which will be inaugurated in the first months of 2015, is a modern Business Center of 8,445.59 square meters, which includes a parking lot with capacity for 80 vehicles and more than 5,000 square meters of offices for entrepreneurs.
Another of the projects in which they will work together is the improvement of the Palmones Industrial Estate, which seeks to consolidate the industrial land in this industrial area to attract new companies to the area and improve the quality of those that are already installed.
The experience of the Campo de Gibraltar Chamber of Commerce in providing services to companies and promoting economic activity means that the interests of it and the Free Zone for the benefit of the economy in general and companies in particular coincide, so the union of forces will benefit the objectives of both entities, which are none other than the promotion and consolidation of the business fabric.
