Jorge Ramos analyzes the promotion of free zones in the logistics sector at the II Meeting of Logistics Zones of Latin America and North Africa

The delegate of the Cádiz Free Zone shares a panel with the president of Gadesport and the national vice president of Authorized Economic Operators during the afternoon sessions

The State delegate in the Free Trade Zone, Jorge Ramos, participates as a speaker in the II Meeting of Logistics Zones of Ibero-America and North Africa that began today at the Cádiz Congress Center and was attended by logistics and transportation businessmen, authorities and representatives of the governments of Morocco and Ibero-America. Among the attendees, the Minister of Development of the Government of Spain, Ana Pastor, stands out.
Ramos will analyze in the Third Panel of the conference, which will take place from 5:00 p.m., the promotion of free zones in the logistics sector and will share a table with the president of Gadesport, Bernardino Abad, and the national vice president of Authorized Economic Operators, Jesús Otero, with the president of the Algeciras Chamber of Commerce, Carlos Fenoy, acting as moderator of the panel.
The inauguration and presentation of this II Meeting of Logistics Zones of Ibero-America and North Africa will take place at 10:00 a.m. and will be led by the mayor of Cádiz, Teófila Martínez, together with the president of the Provincial Council, José Loaiza, and the minister of Transport and Logistics of the Kingdom of Morocco, who will discuss the topic of the Southern European Logistics Platform.
Next, representatives of the Moroccan government, Peru, Chile and Argentina will debate in the First Panel on “Experiences in Latin America and North Africa on Logistics platforms and Trade corridors.”
The second panel, in which representatives of important companies in the logistics and maritime sector will debate, will be titled "Search for efficiency. Reduction of cost and time, cargo handling and establishment of landing platforms and departures in Europe."
These conferences are a meeting between companies, sector professionals and government officials that will take place mainly on Wednesday, November 5, in a day structured around the aforementioned discussion tables.
In addition to this day, in which there will be spaces set up for business meetings, a technical visit has been planned for the next day, November 6, so that attendees can learn about the logistics spaces in the province of Cádiz. Thus, there will be technical visits and meetings of businessmen from Algeciras, Jerez and the Free Trade Zone of Cádiz.
