Jorge Ramos closes today in La Línea the Chamber of Commerce course for the Improvement of Competitiveness of MicroSMEs

A total of 20 projects in the Commerce and Services sector have benefited from the five weeks of training actions over which the program has been developed

The State delegate in the Free Trade Zone of Cádiz, Jorge Ramos, participates this afternoon at 8:30 p.m. in the closing ceremony of the Micro-SMEs Competitiveness Improvement program, in the municipality of La Línea. The program, aimed at promoting the business community, improving the management of SMEs and promoting self-employment, is sponsored by the Cádiz Free Trade Zone, the Campo de Gibraltar Chamber of Commerce and the INCYDE Foundation and has the collaboration of the Linense City Council, so Ramos will be accompanied by the president of the Chamber, Carlos Fenoy, and the Deputy Mayor and Employment Delegate of the La Línea City Council, Belén Serrano.

The event is the culmination of five weeks of training actions from which 20 projects in the commerce and services sector have benefited, mostly from La Línea, in which they have received advice to improve their sales strategy through four modules: General check-up of the establishment; window dressing and interior architecture; marketing and digital strategy; and new technologies and computer solutions.

The program, which began on May 27, has been structured into 160 hours, 12 of them in person and the rest intended for individualized tutorials adapted to the time availability of the participants. In this way, the course has been organized into joint training sessions and individual consultancies that will allow us to offer specific training adapted to the demands posed by each merchant.

This training action corresponds to the second of the three INCYDE Foundation programs that the chamber entity will develop this year under the agreement signed with the Cádiz Free Zone Consortium on March 21 and which, together with the European Social Fund, will allow the co-financing of these activities. The first of them, Business Creation and Consolidation, was held in Algeciras and ended on June 12. The third is scheduled to take place in Tarifa in the last quarter of the year.
