The Special delegate of the State in the Free Zone of Cádiz, Jorge Ramos, together with the subdelegate of the Government, Javier de Torre, will be in charge of opening the Road Safety Day for Companies that will be held throughout the morning in the Assembly Hall of the Heracles Building of the Free Zone.
The conferences, which are organized by the Provincial Traffic Headquarters in collaboration with the Free Trade Zone and Subdelegation of the Government and are aimed at general directors, managers and company leaders, will analyze in depth the figures of road work accidents, as well as the Company Safety Plan, the ISO standard and its certification and experiences and good practices in companies.
The provincial head of Traffic, Piedad Sánchez, will close the day and the head of the Traffic and Social Security Inspection, Eugenio Santa Bárbara, will also be present at the meeting; the head of the Service and Planning of the Higher Council of Traffic, Road Safety and Sustainable Mobility of the General Directorate of Traffic, Fernando Ruiz Cuevas; the representative of AENOR, Nicolás Henríquez; and the representative of the Puerto Real Airbús plant, Jesús López.
Jorge Ramos and Piedad Sánchez held a working meeting last April in which they specified the Consortium's cooperation in this training session, among other lines of collaboration.
During the meeting, Ramos also explained the Consortium's interest in launching, together with the Provincial Traffic Headquarters, a specific training plan for its employees, which would be included in a campaign called "Road Safety, in 12 months", which would be aimed at raising awareness month by month of the high rate of accidents on the route to or returning from work.
