Zona Franca and Acciona sign the rethinking document that begins the construction of the 28 Rota warehouses

The Cádiz Free Trade Zone and the company Acciona Infraestructuras have signed the rethinking document that begins the construction of the 28 nest warehouses on the plot called “ID3 of the RI1 sector of the Villa de Rota Business Park”, a work that has an execution period of eight months.
The action, launched in collaboration with the Municipal Council, has a subsidy from the Reindus Plan of the Ministry of Industry and Energy.
The work consists of the construction of a set of nest ships made up of four modules with similar characteristics that are distributed symmetrically on the plot. Each module is made up of seven naves, one larger in the corner and six in between, all of them composed of a ground floor and a mezzanine. The ships have different dimensions, ranging from 200 to 590 m.² and are built on a plot of 7,407.83 m².
These new facilities will respond to small and medium-sized businessmen and merchants in the city, in need of facilities in which to launch, expand or diversify their activities, a fact that will also be increased by the consequent economic impact of the expanded use of the Rota Base, due to its inclusion in the NATO anti-missile shield.
The State delegate in the Free Zone, Jorge Ramos, and the mayor of Rota, Eva Corrales, signed a collaboration agreement in 2013 for the development, promotion and marketing of this set of warehouses.
