Free Zone and the I.E.S. Isla Verde de Algeciras develops an internship program at the Free Warehouse

The Cádiz Free Trade Zone is carrying out specific internship programs in its participating companies focused on university students, secondary and high school students, as well as groups and associations, in order to promote the comprehensive training and professionalization of future entrepreneurs in the province.
In this context, students from the Isla Verde Secondary Education Institute in Algeciras from the Higher Degree training cycle in International Trade began an internship a few days ago at the Free Warehouse located in the Isla Verde Dock and integrated into the company of the Business Development Consortium of the Free Zone.
The objective of the internship is to offer a better qualification through direct knowledge of the real work environment, which favors the acquisition of technical and methodological skills, facilitates employability and promotes entrepreneurship capacity.
The practices, which will last until June 6, are supervised by qualified personnel from the company who will guide and monitor the students and coordinate with the teaching center.
Following this line of training, business university students have already carried out internships at the Free Warehouse and students from the Rafael Alberti Institute in Cádiz have begun their practical training a few days ago at the Documentary Services facilities in the Interior of the Free Trade Zone in the capital.
In addition to this type of training actions, the Consortium also works to open the Institution to society, and in this sense it is worth remembering that at the beginning of 2013 it launched a program of guided tours of its facilities that are being widely accepted by educational centers, institutes, neighborhood associations, professional associations, etc., who tour and learn first-hand about the services and the main companies in the Free Zone and check how the Consortium has adapted to new times and works for a primary objective: to promote business activity and serve as support for the creation of new companies in order to contribute to job creation
