The new building is financed by Feder Funds
The Cádiz Free Zone has awarded the drafting of the basic and execution project for the Multifunctional Building that the Cádiz Free Zone plans to build on plot C-1 of the El Peral Industrial Estate in Arcos de la Frontera to the architect Adán Bolaños Baena, for an amount of 119,486.80 euros (VAT not included), financed by funds requested within the framework of the Feder de Andalucía Operational Program 2007-2013, and with an execution period of 75 days. 26 offers were submitted to the tender and the budget was 195,880 euros (VAT not included).
The State delegate in the Free Trade Zone of Cádiz, Jorge Ramos, and the mayor of Arcos de la Frontera, José Luis Núñez, ratified at the end of 2012 the collaboration agreement through which the Consortium recovers an old commitment with Arcos, which was acquired by the previous delegate during the last legislature in 2009 and which was not carried out, which contemplates the construction of a business center intended mainly for entrepreneurs, which will have with the latest technologies and amenities necessary for setting up a company with minimal difficulties.
This action, with an estimated budget of 5,547,000 euros, contemplates the construction of a large administrative-commercial facility that will be located on a plot of 2,908 m² and in which a modern building equipped with the latest technologies will be built that will house a new Free Trade Zone Business Center
This building will have a total constructed area of 8,230 m², of which 2,909 m² correspond to parking (not computable); 1,970.9 m² to commercial surface; and 3,347.73 m² intended for offices, coworking rooms and meeting rooms.
It is the intention of Zona Franca, once the corresponding building project has been drafted, to undertake it in two phases: A first of approximately 3,280 m² built and in which: 1,181 m² will be parking, 987 m² of commercial premises on the ground floor and 1,112 m² of offices.
In a second phase, construction will reach 4,947 m² approximately and its execution will begin once the first one is marketed.
The building will have all the advantages that Zona Franca makes available to businesspeople to facilitate the implementation of companies, such as high technology, common secretariat, rental of classrooms, even furniture, among others.
