13 companies opt for the adaptation works of the Hospitality School in the Europa Building

A total of 13 companies have submitted to the competition for which the Cádiz Free Zone will contract the works corresponding to the “Renovated Basic Project and Execution Project for the adaptation of premises in the Europa Building for the Hospitality School in the Interior Precinct of the Cádiz Free Zone”.
The Consortium put out to tender the works on June 26, with the deadline for submitting offers ending on July 8 at 2:00 p.m. The tender budget amounts to 575,513.18 euros, VAT not included, and the execution period is two and a half months.
It is worth remembering that the Executive Committee of the Cádiz Free Trade Zone approved in its last meeting, held last Friday, June 21, the tender file for these works, which is processed urgently in order to speed up deadlines, since it is intended that the new facilities will be ready as soon as possible to start the teaching course.
The Executive Committee of the Consortium will also be the body that awards the works, once the administrative qualification phase has been completed, in which the report with the results of the technical offers is being prepared. Subsequently, the economic offers will be opened and evaluated, the date of which will be informed in a timely manner through the Contractor's Profile on the website www.zonafrancacadiz.com.
The Hospitality School will occupy a total of 1,250 square meters on the ground and first floors, with the kitchen, bakery and restaurant area located on the ground floor, and the classrooms and offices on the first floor. In addition, the project provides for the recreation of a hotel room for the corresponding practices.
Jorge Ramos, delegate of the Free Trade Zone, and José Loaiza, president of the Provincial Council, closed on January 22 the agreement that will allow this educational center to remain in the Cadiz capital, and a subsequent addendum on June 17 that included the total execution of the two plants that have to be adapted at the same time.
