The Free Zone advances in the process to liquidate the companies Rilco and Quality

Rilco and the Quality Group are closer to liquidation today. Today, Wednesday, the Cádiz Free Trade Zone Consortium has submitted to public deed the dissolution agreements of the Ibero-American Logistics and Commerce Network (RILCO), and of the four companies Corporación Alimentaria Quality, Quality Fish, Quality Service and Quality Food.
To date, the Free Trade Zone has taken the following steps to liquidate these companies with the following milestones:
The period of liquidation of the companies began last year after the Agreement of the Council of Ministers of March 16 by which the Restructuring and rationalization Plan of the public business sector and state foundations was approved, which included the five companies mentioned.
Following the guidelines of the Council of Ministers, the Executive Committee of the Consortium, at its meeting on June 28, 2012, unanimously agreed to the dissolution of the Ibero-American Logistics and Trade Network. The dissolution agreements of Corporación Alimentaria Quality and Quality Fish were agreed at the General Meeting on July 31, 2012, while the dissolution agreements of Quality Service and Food were signed at the General Meeting on June 28 of last year.
In parallel, the Consortium submitted a query to the Ministry of Finance to verify whether the agreement promoting the liquidation of the company implicitly authorized the dissolution agreement, a query that was answered on December 14, 2012 by the Ministry authorizing the dissolution and liquidation of the five companies mentioned.
These conclusions of the Ministry of Finance were reported to the Executive Committee on December 28, 2012 and to the Plenary Session on January 29, 2013, and on April 15 of this year the liquidation projects of the companies were contracted.
Last June, the liquidation projects were completed, which will be submitted for approval at the next Executive Committee and Plenary Committee of this Institution.
