The Neighborhood Association of “Cerro del Moro” visits the Free Trade Zone

A group from the Neighborhood Association of the “Cerro del Moro” neighborhood of Cádiz” visited the facilities of the Free Trade Zone in Cádiz last Tuesday, April 23, within the open door program that the Consortium has launched to make citizens aware of its work and that of the companies installed in its Interior Precinct.
The day began in the auditorium of the Heracles building, where an audiovisual of the history and activity of the Consortium was projected, in which special mention was made of the support that Zona Franca provides to entrepreneurs. Next, the person in charge of the Department of Promotion and Development of Free Zone Projects, Javier Gutiérrez, and the Customs technician, Francisco Piñero, offered a talk-discussion about the present and the future challenges of the Cádiz Institution.
After visiting the Melkart building, the group moved to the facilities of the Documentary Services of Andalusia (SDA), where a technical advisor from this Consortium company showed them the work and details of the document archiving and custody service, which counts among its clients numerous administrations in the province.
Subsequently, the residents of Cerro del Moro accessed the Europa building, where they saw first-hand its Business Center with the offer of offices and classrooms, in addition to the coworking service, through which for only 50 euros per month you have a job to start a work activity.
The association ended the tour in the Plenary Hall of the Institution, where they were received by the Special Delegate of the State, Jorge Ramos, who presented them with a commemorative gift, the book of the 80 years of History of the Free Trade Zone of Cádiz.
