The State delegate in the Cádiz Free Trade Zone Consortium, Jorge Ramos, visited the El Bosque City Council this morning where he held a meeting with the mayor of the town, Inmaculada Gil, within the framework of the agreement signed last January between both institutions in order to create infrastructure and boost the economic activity of the municipality, above all supporting the initiatives of entrepreneurs.
In this sense, during the work meeting, in which the Consortium's Project Development Manager, Javier Gutiérrez, and the Deputy Mayor Miguel Hinojo also participated, different actions were explored to launch new business projects in the municipality, one possible action being to enable the basement of the bullring for SMEs and entrepreneurs who require a space to develop their activity.
Ramos and Gil have agreed to schedule a meeting with businessmen in the area in the coming weeks in order to study the different proposals they present that are of interest to enhance and boost the economic activity of El Bosque.
Likewise, during the meeting and at the request of the mayor, the possibility of carrying out a three-way joint action between the City Council, the Free Trade Zone and the Provincial Council was also discussed to enhance and provide economic activity to the 172-hectare “El Imperio” farm, where an ecotourism development could be carried out. –non-residential-sustainable that would host different sports and leisure activities that would create wealth and employment in the area, always respecting the environment and the native flora and fauna.
In this sense, the delegate of the Free Trade Zone and the mayor have visited the aforementioned farm to analyze on the ground the different actions to be developed that could include, in addition to a rural hotel development, diverse and complementary activities such as sports facilities, horse riding, a nature classroom, orchards, livestock, and services that complement a leisure offer that generates economic activity and at the same time is respectful of the environment.
With actions such as those that will be carried out in El Bosque, the Consortium aims for the collaborative spirit between institutions to promote and enhance the development of all actions that are of interest to the population as a whole, by promoting the business community and with projects that lead to wealth and job creation in the municipalities.
