The Association of Press Workers visits the Free Trade Zone

The Association of Press Workers visited the facilities of the Free Trade Zone of Cádiz yesterday morning, Wednesday, within the open door program that the Consortium has launched to make citizens aware of its work and that of the companies installed in its Interior Precinct.
The group, made up of 20 people, began their visit in the assembly hall of the Heracles building, where they were received by the person in charge of Project Promotion and Development, Javier Gutiérrez, and by the person in charge of Customs, Francisco Piñero. After the welcome, an explanatory video summary of all the activity that the Institution carries out in the city and the province to promote economic growth and job creation was shown.
After visiting the Melkart building, the offices of the new Europa building and taking a tour of the Interior Campus, the group moved to the facilities of the Andalusian Documentary Services (SDA) company, where they were shown the work and details of this document archiving, custody and digitization service, which counts among its clients numerous administrations in the province.
The day ended in the Consortium's Plenary Room, where the meetings of the Consortium's governing bodies, Plenary and Executive Committee are held and where they were presented with a commemorative gift, the book of the 80 years of History of the Free Trade Zone of Cádiz.
The guided tour program launched by the Free Trade Zone aims to make the Institution known to Cádiz society and share the activity and projects it is carrying out, as well as the change of image and strategy promoted by the new State Delegate, Jorge Ramos.
These open days are aimed at all types of social and cultural entities, educational centers, neighborhood associations, professional associations, etc., and will show the citizens of Cádiz what the Fiscal Precinct currently is, configured in the 50s of the last century with land reclaimed from the sea and how it has been converted into a modern business enclave that currently comprises modern office buildings and warehouses dedicated to various activities. The request for a guided tour can be processed through the website www.zonafrancacadiz.com.
