The members of the Association of Alumni of the San Felipe Neri School began yesterday Tuesday the open days that the Free Trade Zone has launched to make citizens aware of the activity, companies and facilities of the Cádiz Campus.
The group, made up of more than fifty members belonging to different promotions of the well-known educational center, began their visit in the auditorium of the Heracles Building where they attended a projection of the history and activity of the Free Zone.
Subsequently, the visit moved to the Documentary Services facilities where the person in charge of this Consortium company showed them the work and details of this archiving service whose clients include the main administrations of the province.
The former students of San Felipe, who also visited the facilities of the Procosur company, ended the tour in the plenary hall of the Institution, where they were received by the State delegate, Jorge Ramos, who informed them that the meetings of the Consortium's governing bodies are held in this office, that is, the Plenary Session and the Executive Committee and gave them a commemorative gift, the book of the 80 years of History of the Area Franca from Cádiz.
The guided tour program launched by the Free Trade Zone aims to make the Institution known to Cádiz society and share the activity and projects it is carrying out, as well as the change of image and strategy promoted by the new State Delegate, Jorge Ramos.
These open days are aimed at all types of social and cultural entities, educational centers, neighborhood associations, professional associations, etc., and will show the citizens of Cádiz what the Fiscal Precinct currently is, configured in the 50s of the last century with land reclaimed from the sea and how it has been converted into a modern business enclave that currently comprises modern office buildings and warehouses dedicated to various activities.
